Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Engineering & Design professional to join our team in the industrial equipment and machinery sector. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in product design, particularly for valves, gearboxes, actuators, and automation systems. The role requires expertise in Solid Edge for product design, GD&T for precision, and experience in design validation and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using Solid Edge (3D CAD) and AutoCAD software.
• Work on Gear Design, Pneumatic & Hydraulic Actuators, and Automation systems for industrial equipment.
• Coordinate Engineering Change Notices (ECN), Engineering Change Requests (ECR), and prepare Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Conduct Validation Testing to ensure product designs meet required standards and performance specifications.
• Ensure designs adhere to GD&T standards, maintaining precision and compliance.
• Participate in Technical Reviews and lead Product Design and development phases.
• Collaborate with the team to enhance product performance, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency.
• Improve engineering design processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Candidate Profile:

• Education: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 4 to 8 years in product design and development within the industrial equipment or machinery sector.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Solid Edge  for 3D design and technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T and experience in Gear Design.
  • Experience in Validation Testing and Manufacturing Processes.
  • Knowledge of Pneumatics and Automation is a plus.
• Previous experience in the Valves and Actuators industry is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead design projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
