We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Inspector to join our team in the valve and actuators manufacturing industry. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the company’s quality standards and industry regulations. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with up to 2 years of experience in quality control or inspection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Control:
  • Inspect and monitor processes, materials, and finished products to ensure they meet required quality standards.
  • Identify any deviations from quality standards and report them to senior management.
• Compliance Monitoring:
  • Ensure all products comply with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining and implementing the company’s quality management system (QMS).
• Supplier Quality Monitoring:
  • Monitor and inspect incoming materials from suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Communicate non-conformities to suppliers and record corrective actions.
• Internal Audits:
  • Assist in conducting internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards and systems.
  • Help track and maintain audit results and corrective actions.
• Customer Feedback and Complaints:
  • Assist in responding to customer feedback and complaints, ensuring corrective actions are taken when necessary.
  • Support the implementation of CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) to resolve quality concerns.
• Risk Management and Process Improvement:
  • Assist in identifying potential risks in production processes and work with the team to develop solutions.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance product quality.
• Document Maintenance:
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with QMS requirements.
  • Support the creation and updating of quality documentation, including inspection reports and non-conformance records.
• Root Cause Analysis:
  • Assist in performing root cause analysis for quality issues using various tools and techniques.
  • Support the team in identifying corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education:
  • B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (Freshers or candidates with 0-2 years of experience in Quality Control or Inspection are encouraged to apply).
• Knowledge and Skills:
  • Basic understanding of quality standards and inspection techniques.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant industry standards is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify quality issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with various teams and suppliers.
• Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of machining processes, coating processes, and metalworking processes such as forgings, castings, and heat treatments is desirable.
  • Proficient in using basic quality inspection tools and software (e.g., calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Problem-Solving Skills:
  • Ability to assist in identifying problems and implementing solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills to support the identification of root causes and corrective actions.
• Work Ethic:
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the quality function.
  • Initiative-taking attitude with a passion for improving product quality and ensuring customer satisfaction.
